Ever had a dream that a tyrant is trying to destroy the world? Your character has had just that in Little Big Adventure Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure, and before your character is able to get the word out, your character is locked away in jail by the very evil dictator who is intent on bringing the world to its knees. This game is an action adventure game that is loaded with puzzles you have to solve. Can you get out of jail, warn the world, and take down this evil dictator?
Become a prophet and a savior
One has to applaud a storyteller who turns a dream into the driving plot point for a game. Not to spoil the game, but this isn’t a dream fantasy. Your character is awake and tasked with escaping jail and exploring a huge world to discover secrets and uncover mysteries. The graphics are well rendered for a 1994 game, but they are lacking in texture. The puzzles are lots of fun because the more inventive you are, then the more likely you are to complete the puzzles. Little Big Adventure Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure doesn’t live and die on its puzzles, it doesn’t even rely on its action sequences; it rises above the rest because it has a great story. Move from area to area and uncover yet more secrets that push the story forwards.
A great story that you have to play your way through
If you are tired of watching movies and having the story told to you, then you may play Little Big Adventure Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure and be part of the story. The fact you are right in the story with your nose in the mud from the start, you feel a strong connection to the narrative, which makes the game very immersive. The graphics are sadly very dated and it could use one hell of a HD update, but if you enjoy a good storyline in your games, then 1994 and LBA is the game for you.
